Magyar Zene Háza
At the House of Music in Budapest, I created an interactive element for the permanent exhibition that visually depicts how two Hungarian folk songs are transformed into contemporary music.
The illustrations showcase the traditional embroidery motifs of two different regions as they evolve into abstract forms. This interactive exhibit provides a unique and engaging way for visitors to learn about the rich cultural heritage of Hungary's music and folk traditions, while also highlighting the evolution of these traditions over time. By seamlessly integrating technology and art, this exhibit serves as a testament to the enduring power of music to connect people across generations and cultures. Visit the Budapest House of Music to experience this captivating exhibit and discover the beauty and complexity of Hungarian folk music for yourself.
